Dear Diary,
I started to become very worried that Ceasar won't come today. Lately I have tried to stay away from everyone, because last time I think I was a little too obvoius. When I was talking to Brutus and Decius, Decius said he would take care of it, and make sure Ceasar shows up. Knowing Ceasar, he might not show up because his wife is extremely worried about him. I heard she had a nightmare about him and now wants him to stay home. Hopefully, Decius can get him to come. Ceasar and Calpurnia are a very different couple. It looks as if she is very worried about him, and he doesn't care about her, as much as she cares about him. I never told anyone that, even though it CAN be relevent in rebelling against Ceasar. If worse comes to worse, maybe I'll higher someone to kidnapp Calpurnia, and then maybe it'll distract Ceasar. When I was talking to Brutus, we decided not to kill Marc Antony because it might look like we are envious of his position, how close he is to Ceasar. All we need to do is kill Ceasar, not anyone else. If I can get Marc Antony on my side of this, the plan will go that much faster, and be that much easier. I won't do that because I am still not confident that we have Brutus's FULL cooperation in this. I guess I'll see what happens tommorow.

Cassius
Today, during the race, I had a very good conversation with Brutus. As you know, I want to go against Ceasar, because he is very unworthy. One time, I actually had to save him in the lake. If he was strong and had the characterisitics of a king, he would be able to save himself. When I was talking to Brutus, I tried being as nice as I can, by telling him what he wanted to hear. Maybe, if I talk to him all the time like that, he will start to look up to me, follow me, see how unworthy Ceasar is, and eventually gather many people to rebel against Ceasar. After that, I saw Casca, who told me there will be a storm which I will be caught in. I think he is crazy and doesnt know what he is talking about, but of course, I just said, "It's probably nothing", in order for him not to be angry with me; because who knows, I might need his help sometime in the future. Later on, I had the greatest idea. I'm a little nervous to do it, because I really dont want to get caught, but if I do it in the right, secretive way, I'm confident I can do it. I will write a fake letter, to Brutus signed from the people of Rome. In this letter, I'll write that is a very bad thing that Ceasar is becoming king, and Brutus must do something about it. I think Brutus will fall for it, because he already has a doubt in his mind about the whole thing but he is loyal to Ceasar. Brutus is a beloved man, and I want his help in order to take over these easy people. I'm trying to act as I normally do, but I cant tell if it's working, because I'm doing this alone. I stay up late at night, because I'm so nervous, but I have to act as if nothing is going on, and I am great. I'll just keep telling myself that everyday.

Frankensiten
1. I think romantic means something that has to do with love. Romanticism is romantic spirit or tendency. Imporntant things that has to do with Romanticism is un realistic love and adventure.
2. The definition of Gothic is pertaining to or designating the style of painting, sculpture..etc. An example of gothic in Frankenstien is that Victor never leaves in his apartment which is describes as dark and creepy
3.Alchemy-a form of chemistry and speculative philosophy practiced in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and concerned principally with discovering methods for transmuting baser metals into gold and with finding a universal solvent and an elixir of life.
This has to do with Frankenstein because Victor wanted to find cures for diseases and bring people back to life which is like eternal youth.
4.Franeknstein was written because Mary Shelley went to Switzerland with her soon to be husband and had a competition with the people there who can write the scariest story and she wrote Frankenstein.
5. Prometheus- the son of Iapetus who was one of the Titans. He tricked the gods into eating bare bones instead of good meat. He stole the sacred fire from Zeus and the gods. He did not tell Zeus the prophecy that one of Zeus's sons will overthrow him. In punishment, Zeus commanded that Prometheus be chained for eternity in the Caucasus. There, an eagle (or, according to other sources, a vulture) would eat his liver, and each day the liver would be renewed. So the punishment was endless, until Heracles finally killed the bird. Prometheus is known to be one of the most interesting characters in Greek Mythology.
"Modern day Prometheus"-Victor Frankenstein was like Prometheus by keeping the creation of the monster to himself. The monster destroyed everything and when people found out that Frankenstein was the one who created the monster, they decided he deserved death.
6.Description of the monster- has green skin
-looks a little like Victor
- very tall
-has black hair
-has red eyes
-looks a little deadly/ghostly
7. In the poem, Paradise Lost, by John Milton, the Satan rebels agaisnt his master creator. He rebelled against him because he didnt like the blessings coming from the creator and wanted to find something about the Earth. This relates to Frankenstein because in Frankenstien, the monster rebels against his creator to go find and "tour" the earth.

Edgar Allan Poe lived from January 19, 1809 untill Octover 7. 1849.
The disease that affected many of his loved ones was Turberculosis.
He died because of drug overdose, depression, suicide and alcohol.
His last words were, "God help my poor soul".
The story behind the quote is that Poe died, but only a few people will get upset and care because not everyone loved him or his work.
Some shows that were influenced by Poe are the Simpsons, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Homicide: Life on the Street.
The Poe Toaster is when people visit Poe's original grave and leave three roses.
At the end of "The Masque of the Red Death", Prince Prospero and his partygoers die because the Red Death got into the Castle. I felt a little bad that they died because they thought they can really stop themselves from catchnig a deadly disease. When they relize that the disease has entered the palace is when I felt bad for them.("Darkness and Decay and the Red Death have at last triumphed")

In my knpasack i have many books and supplies that I use for school. My supplies help me take notes for school. My favorite thing I have in my bag are my colored pens. Each one of my colored pens have their own special relation towards me. I have pick pens, red pens, blue pens, green pens, black pens, purple pens, tall and short pens too. Each color can relate to a mood that Im in. When I use my red or pink pens I am happy and cheerful. If im using my black pens, im serious and studious, ready to take 4 pages of notes. When I use my green pens, I am tired and not in the mood to learn or do anything. If Im using my blue or purple pens, I am in a talkative mood. I love all of my colored pens dearly.
